In February of 2006, Ronny and Tina joined Karen and the band began to come together, Ronny on guitar, and Tina on bass.

Rickey joined the group with his guitar in February 2007.

Jeff came in on drums in June 2007.

In early July, Tina left the band to pursue other interests.

Brent came in with his bass in August 2007.

"Surrendered" members draw from their backgrounds in various music genres to play a style Rickey dubbed "Texas Gospel".  A mixture of Country, Contemporary, 50s, 60s, 70s, and even 80s rock, they agree that no one genre can hold all the music that the Lord has given them.

July 21, 2007, "Surrendered" was named the Country Gospel Music Association Central Division Band of the Year in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, and on October 27, 2007 was named the CGMA International Band of the Year in Branson, Missouri.

"Surrendered"  takes our music ministry to other churches for special events and are available for various other venues, as the Lord opens the doors.

"Surrendered" is available on a love-offering/honorarium basis.
